COATINGS:

DELTA-DC 4044 reduces the interfacial tension between pigments or extenders and the vehicle leading to:

Reduced dispersion/grinding times

Decreased pigment sedimentation

Increased gloss

Improved flow

DELTA-DC 4044 is a multi-purpose wetting and dispersing additive, which is compatible with all solvent and solvent-free coating systems. It can be used as well to provide excellent activation of organically treated Bentonites.
DELTA-DC 4044 should be added prior to the dispersion/grinding process. 0.2-2.0% (delivery form) on inorganic pigments

2.0-5.0% (delivery form) on organic pigments 30.0-50.0%(delivery form) on the Bentonites

COMPOSITE:

DELTA-DC 4044 improves the dispersing/grinding process of fillers in glass fiber reinforced plastics.
Through a better wetting and a more homogeneous distribution of the fillers, a strong viscosity reduction is obtained. This results in an improvement of the physical properties like the impact resistance, especially in systems filled with Al(OH)3.

DELTA-DC 4044 can be used in filled SMC (sheet moulding compounds) and BMC (bulk moulding compounds) and in other filled and reinforced compounds.

DELTA-DC 4044 should be added to the resin system prior to the addition of the extenders.
0.5-1.5% (delivery form) on extenders
