APPLICATION:

Metazolone FM has broad spectrum of activity, good solubility in water and biodegradability after adequate dilution, which is easy to use in recommended dilution. This product can be added at any time during manufacturing. However, it is advised to add it as early as possible to give protection throughout the production process. Care should be taken to ensure that temperature, pH and redox potential at the point of addition are suitable for stability of the product. It is used in preservation of aqueous coatings, polymer dispersions, filler suspensions, pigment slurries, solutions and dispersions of adhesives and thickeners, concrete additives, detergents, cleaning agents, polishes, etc.

Normal use concentrations are in the range 0.05 TO 0.40 %, depending on the product to be protected and the environmental conditions to which it will be exposed. It is advisable to carry out compatibility tests before Metazolone FM is used in new products or applications.
